UCT Vice-Chancellor Professor Mosa Moshabela attended the U7+ Alliance Summit in April 2025 in Ottawa, Canada. He joined presidents from over 50 universities across five continents—members of the U7+ Alliance of World Universities—who are united in their commitment to addressing global challenges. Together, they pledged to work with G7 leaders to advance the development of artificial intelligence that benefits societies worldwide.
